The Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Research Network (CMHDARN) aims to link people and organisations to relevant information and resources, funding opportunities, professional development events and workshops, research outcomes and other activities aimed at building the capacity of the Mental Health and AOD sectors to understand and undertake research.
Our activities include ethics consultation, innovation and evaluation grants, managing this website, webinars, e-communications strategies the development of useful resources. All of these activities are geared towards developing a culture of research by promoting the exchange of ideas, support and collaboration.
These activities will build capacity for research, evidence-based practices and improved outcomes for people with a lived experience of mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs issues.
