This $20,000 grant supports community-managed organisations working across mental health (MH) and alcohol and other drugs (AOD) to undertake a project that:

CMHDARN has the pleasure of announcing the latest recipient of the Innovation and Evaluation Grant of $20,000 is Glebe House. Their project, ‘Glebe House residential and outreach support evaluation’ will explore the impacts of Glebe House’s residential therapeutic alcohol and other drug recovery program and their transitional outreach support program for our clients who are in recovery from addiction and living with complex trauma, mental illness and impacts of incarceration.

CMHDARN has the pleasure of announcing the recipient of the Innovation and Evaluation Grant 2022-2023 of $20,000 is Youth Solutions in partnership with Stride and University of Wollongong. Their project, ‘Barriers to access and engagement of young people with co-morbid substance use and mental health struggles: what are we missing?’ will engage young people with lived experience of substance use and/or mental health concerns, along with parents and carers, in considering the unique challenges in accessing care and engaging with services. The researchers are keen to engage in co-production research, and hope that this project may lead to new insights and innovations in service provision and potential community oriented solutions.
